The incident of Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi and a Hindu girl

Once Hazrat Sultan Mehmood Ghaznavi was passing through the forest with his soldiers when he suddenly strayed from the path of the forest. 

۔  The sultan was wandering in the jungle when suddenly he saw a Hindu princess who had gone hunting with her maid.  A bear arrived.

By the time the Sultan's arrow had pierced the bear's throat, 

the bear had struck the princess's maid. It would have been too late for the prince to draw his arrow.

 The Sultan fired three consecutive arrows at the beast from which it had piled up. The princess had no difficulty in realizing that only a great general could display such bravery and skill.

The princess turned to the Sultan, thanked him, and introduced herself, saying, "My name is Smriti, and I am the daughter of the Raja of Jaipur."

Thank you for saving my life  By the way, you don't look like a soldier in our army. Where do you belong?

She probably did not know that Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni was standing in front of her.  The names of the Hindu kings used to dry their throats.

The Sultan said, "Yes, I am a soldier of another army."  Let me take you to a safe place.  You follow me. Darkness is growing. If you don't find a way, you may have to spend the night in this forest.

The princess knew that this man was free from fear and greed, so she considered herself safe. The Sultan said, "We must spend the night here, and in the morning I will take you to your destination."

The Sultan felt that he might not be able to bear the cold of the forest, so he threw his cloak at her. The princess covered the cloak. The princess's eyes were fixed on the Sultan.  He performed tayammum and started praying. The princess was shocked to see that this person is a Muslim and if he is not from the army of Ghazni, then buffaloes, sheep, goats and human beings are eaten by all.  Then he thought that this man could not be like that because he had saved me from the wild beast.

After the prayers, the Sultan started crying while praying. The Sultan put the tip of his dagger on his toe and pressed it. The princess understood that this person did not want to be frank with me.

 In the morning, the Sultan took the princess out and finally the Sultan and the princess reached a smooth path.  Signs of a distant village were found. The Sultan said that it was known as a village of his state.

On reaching the village, 

the princess ordered her soldiers to give her two lightning-fast horses and some grain.

The princess said to the Sultan, "Stranger, what kind of clay are you made of? You kept stabbing your wounds with your dagger all night and did not pay any attention to me."

The Sultan said that the princess kept on healing her wounds so that your beauty would not harm my faith and my attention would be on my pain.

The princess asked the Sultan, "Shouldn't you have missed this opportunity? People are ready to leave their state to meet us in private."  The Sultan said, "I am a Muslim and a slave of the Prophet Muhammad."  My eyes are not on your body but on my soul. Maybe the stain of sin would be washed away from my body but how could I appear before my Holy Prophet (sws) with this stain of sin on my soul.

I am a true Muslim. Princess was very impressed to hear this answer. Princess said, "Tell me the name of yourself and your army."

 In Sultan Bola I am Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi and I am the commander of the army of Ghazni. The Sultan got rid of the horse and ran away.

 Such were the rulers and kings of the Islamic Empire.
