 What is scabies?

 Scabies is a skin disease.  It is caused by a small knight. It is a treatable disease.  It can be treated with lotions or creams.  The unwellness is transmitted from one person to a different.


 What are relatives called?

 Mites are eight-legged parasites, while insects have six legs.  They are very small.  They are one-third of a millimeter long. They are very itchy when rubbed into the skin.  Relatives with scabies are invisible to the naked eye. They live inside the skin.  Cannot live outside the skin for long.


Symptoms:

 It causes severe itching.  Itching more at night.  We can see them only in case of rash or itching.


 Itching: It usually starts between the fingers and then spreads all over the body. This itching increases at night and after bathing with warm water.


Rash: Rash appears soon after itching.  This rash will seem on any a part of the body. Which makes the skin stained red and bulging.  Rash is more common on the front of the thigh, abdomen, armpits, and around the nipple in women.


 Itching: Itching can cause minor damage to the skin.  Sometimes this damaged skin also gets a bacterial infection.  This infection is called a secondary infection because it occurs on damaged skin.  Infected skin feels hot, swollen, red and itchy.


 Caution:

 It is treated with more caution than medication.  The precautions are as follows


1: Keep the patient's clothes in the sun.

 2: It is also important to place the patient's bed in the sun.

 3: Always wear clothes after ironing.

 4: Avoid getting too much as it can be passed from one person to another.

 5: Take special care of cleanliness.

 6: Reduce bad things in your diet.

 7: Avoid fast food.

 8: Use less rice and beef.

 9: Eat more vegetables and fruits.


 Treatment:

 Many medicines are used to treat it.

 Sulfur, thoja, sorinum etc. in homeopathy.

 Allopathic uses a variety of antibiotics and anti-itch drugs.  Especially (Scabian lotion, Lotrex cream) are used more.


 Note:

 Medications are symptomatic, so use with your doctor's advice.  And always get a diagnosis from your doctor.
